Sometimes our system corrupted for virus or deleting any system file wrongly if you have fresh system restore point of previous date which was on running System then you can easily restore it


To make System Restore, you'll need 200 MB of free hard disk space, which is used to store the data gathered for the restore points.

If you don't have this much free space, System Restore will disable automatically until the space becomes available. System Restore will create and save restore points until this space is full, and will then begin writing over itself beginning with the least recent data.

How to create system restore Point ?

1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.

2. On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.

3. On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in below picture, and then click Next.



Then here will be appeared below dialog box put a name click on next then finally you will see a dialog box for finishing system restore point.

So click on on Create to create system restore point

Your Restore point is created successfully

How to Restore your System?

Then if you required this restore point implement on you XP machine then go to previous way in system restore wizard click on Restore my Computer to an earlier time

click on next

Then click on next again now confirm your restore point




Jus Next and click on Finish

Your system restore is done.




Ho to turn off / on System restor

With the default Category Control Panel:

  1. Head to Start
  2. Select Control Panel
  3. Select Performance and Maintenance
  4. Select System
  5. Select System Restore Tab
  6. Check "Turn off or on System Restore"
  7. Select the Ok button to apply the settings

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.

5. Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

  1. Lauch Windows Task Manager.
  2. End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.
  3. Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode.
  4. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32.
  5. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
  6. Lauch RegEdit.
  7. Browse to the following location:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
    Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify
  8. Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents
Reboot Windows XP.

How to backup File?


Click Start, Run and type NTBACKUP

Select Backup tab at the top

In the left pane, scroll to the file/folder which you want to backup and put a checkmark on it.

At the bottom, mention the output filename (the backup output)

At the time of starting your computer, many applications might load at startup, some may not be required at all.

Here we can use Windows startup managing utility called MSCONFIG, using which you can disable startup applications. This is also called System Configuration Utility. To access MSCONFIG, try these steps:

1. Click Start, Run and type MSCONFIG
2. Click Startup tab and view the listings there
3. Uncheck the corresponding entry for the application which you want to disable from startup
4. Click OK
Your will be asked to restart your computer you may choose now or later

How to create Shutdown, Restart Shorcut

Suppose we want to create this shortcut on desktop as usually any body create shortcut on desktop
  1. Right Click on blank desktop

  2. Right click on a blank space and a menu will appear

  3. Choose New from the menu

  4. Then choose Shortcut

  5. Where it says type the location of the item type in shutdown.exe -s

  6. Then press on next button

  7. Now enter a name for your icon. such as only Shutdown

  8. Press next

  9. The Shutdown shortcut will be appeared on your desktop

  10. Click on this shortcut ............................ and see what is happened.
